The Youth Voice Network of Organisations (YVNO) is seeking to recruit six experts to contribute to the project “EmpowerED Futures for Blended Education of Roma and Egyptian Communities in Tirana Municipality.” This initiative is a key component of the Inclusive EduJobs project, funded by the European Union and implemented in collaboration with the Open Society Foundation for Albania, the Social Action and Innovation Centre (KMOP), and the Municipality of Tirana.

Our project aims to improve educational inclusion and achievements among Roma and Egyptian students through the implementation of blended learning and digital education in three public schools in Tirana. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about education, technology, and community empowerment to join us in this meaningful effort.

Open Positions:

Mentor of teachers on how to support R/E in online/digital learning- ToRs

• Duration: 16 days (12 days for training delivery, 4 days for preparation and reporting)
• Responsibilities: Enhance digital learning approaches, train teachers in ICT, and provide methodologies for improving children’s educational achievements through digital learning.

Expert in Digital Learning (Teacher)- ToRs

• Duration: 9 months (11 days per month)
• Responsibilities: Conduct after-school activities for Roma and Egyptian students, focusing on digital learning, civic education, and psychosocial support.

Technology Education Expert (IT Expert)- ToRs

• Duration: 9 months (11 days per month)
• Responsibilities: Provide IT education and digital learning support for students, focusing on practical use of digital tools for school projects and subject-based learning.

Civil Education Expert (Social Worker)- ToRs

• Duration: 9 months (11 days per month)
• Responsibilities: Facilitate civic education and blended learning for students, with a focus on raising awareness about the importance of digital education and providing psychosocial support.

Expert for the delivery of the workshop for school staff and students on the effective use of digital technology and mentoring- ToRs

• Duration: 9 days (3 workshop days and 3 mentoring days across three schools)
• Responsibilities: Develop digital education models, provide mentoring for teachers and students, and deliver practical guidelines for applying blended education in the Albanian context.

IT Expert for School ICT Infrastructure-ToRs

• Duration: Based on project needs
• Responsibilities: Provide technical support for school ICT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity, as well as comprehensive assistance to teachers

Project Duration:

The project will run for 12 months, and the recruited experts will be involved throughout various stages of the implementation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in the relevant field of expertise.

Ability to work in educational settings and with marginalized communities.

Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Knowledge of digital education tools and methodologies.

Ability to produce clear reports and training materials.
