YPS Agenda
From April 17 to 18, 2026, the city of Pogradec hosted a regional exchange that brought together 25 young people and organizers from Albania and North Macedonia. This event was a key part of the Youth360 program and focused on the Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) agenda. The two days were filled with activities aimed at helping participants from different backgrounds understand one another and learn how to work together for a more peaceful region.
The exchange focused on exploring identity, culture, and the root causes of conflict. Participants spent time discussing their personal backgrounds and learning how to look at social issues in their own communities through a peacebuilding lens. These sessions gave the youth practical ways to think about the challenges facing the region today.
Another major part of the program was learning how to use creativity and the arts to lead social change. Participants explored artistic tools and methods as a way to express their vision for a more inclusive and peaceful society.
To balance the learning, the group also spent time exploring Pogradec, visiting the local museum, and taking a boat ride in Drilon. These moments allowed the youth from Cërrik, Pogradec, and North Macedonia to share stories, challenge old stereotypes, and build real friendships.
